Math Highlights

Last week students looked at increasing patterns using manipulatives. Below are some pictures of this!

They also examined patterns using tables to solve complex pattern problems.

This week we will be exploring equations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. 

For example:

Science Inquiry

Our science inquiry with Ms. Chaudhary has begun. Mr. Dusang's class and our class are meeting daily to explore the question:

How can we as environmentalists design a simple machine prototype that helps our environment?

Home Reading and Raz Kids

Home reading bags have been sent home. I am hoping to have student's switch books on Mondays. If they are not finished their books they can hang onto them until they are finished and switch their books the following week on Monday. There is a home reading log that you can initial each time your child reads.
